The Simplisity approach:

We worked with both the IT and Facilities teams to better understand short, medium and long term objectives. We audited their current telecom infrastructure all the way to the desktop and built a matrix that catalogued equipment, network and departmental cost centres. We recommended new technology and after installation our review indicated that further staff training was needed.

The result:

Our telecom audit quickly identified that they needed to update their technology to take advantage of a modular infrastructure that could develop as their business grew and changed.

We introduced a wide area network based on MPLS technology. This technology allows "any to any" communications and gave them the modularity they needed. We also installed a GSM Gateway to halve their costs of calls to mobiles.

We produced a corporate directory listing employee contact details. After review, a small amount of training provided to up-skill key staff quickly improved call handling.

This convergence was a technological leap and updated the IT and phone infrastructure. It reduced both telecom and administrative costs and improved accessibility for tenants. It also introduced a home working capacity which improved staff retention and recruitment costs.
